A PO Box is a basic mailing service provided by Royal Mail. You’re given a locked box at a Post Office location where your letters are delivered. It’s useful for privacy, but it has several limitations — you can’t receive parcels from most couriers, you don’t get a real street address, and you usually need to collect your mail in person.
A Virtual Office, on the other hand, provides you with a real, professional business address that can receive letters, parcels and courier deliveries from all providers. Acorn Business Solutions offer a choice of two locations which you can select during sign up. We don’t use box, suite or unit numbers just your name or business name and our address.

What happens to my mail?
This is completely up to you. When signing up to our virtual office service, you will be asked to tell us what to do with your mail (this can be changed later if needed)
We can either
- Hold your mail in branch for you to collect, we will let you know when mail arrives by sending you an email.
- Forward Mail by Post – We can forward your mail anywhere in the world using your preferred forwarding method and frequency.
- Scan and Upload to your Online Account – We can scan your mail and upload it to your online account the same day we receive it.
Can I receive parcels and packages?
Yes, Our virtual office service allows you to receive letters, packages and parcels up to 20kg in weight and measuring up to 61cm x 46cm x 46cm. This will be either held in branch for you to collect or forwarded onto you anywhere in the world.
Can I use the virtual office as my Registered Office Address?
No as a standalone service, the virtual office cannot not be used as the registered office of a limited company or the service address for company officers. This can be added if needed, please see Registered Office. Alternatively we do offer a discounted package including both the virtual office service and the registered office service. Is there a minimum term contract?
The virtual office service from Acorn Business Solutions is available on 3 billing options; monthly, quarterly or annually. The minimum term will be which ever option you select during signup. To cancel the service simply let us know in writing providing 7 days notice and we will get it cancelled for you.
Is there any setup or admin fees?
No! Acorn Business Solutions does not change a setup or admin fee.
How do I signup?
You can signup quickly and easily online at Signup. Order before 2pm for same business day activation.
We will always try to process orders received after 2pm the same business day however this will depend on the time the order is received and the current workload.
