The Mailbox Lite address sharing service was introduced following a number of requests. Designed specifically for low volume users who cannot justify the costs of renting their own premises or purchasing a standard service given their anticipated use.
The Mailbox Lite service is almost identical to our standard mail forwarding service but as the name suggests this is the “lite” option designed for those needing a professional street address but don’t expect to receive much mail such as Ebay / Amazon traders, online businesses, and those looking to secure listings in various online directories and local search engines.
Similar to the Mail Forwarding service the Mailbox Lite will allow you to share one of our business addresses to receive your mail, in up to one business name and 2 personal names, which will be forwarded onto an address of your choice anywhere in the world. As this is the “Lite” option then it is limited to 34 items per year after which you would need to renew your mailbox lite or transfer onto a standard service.
Mailbox Lite for Small Businesses

What will my phone number be?
With a virtual landline number you will choose a geographic dialing code such as 0161 for Manchester, 0151 for Liverpool. Once your order has been processed your telephone number will be provided via email.
How do I receive calls?
Although the vast majority of our virtual telephone numbers are simply diverted to your standard mobile number and you receive telephone calls on your mobile, you can also use free and paid for apps to make and receive calls such as Zoiper you can also connect Voip handsets and software for both PC and MAC
Can I make calls?
Yes. Although the vast majority of our virtual telephone numbers are used to receive business calls, with the us free or paid for apps, software or voip phone handsets you can also make calls from your unique business telephone number. (subject to calls charges)
Are there any call limits?
When using an app / sofrware such as Zoiper or a VOIP handset you can receive as many telephone calls as you like with no additional costs.

1000 Minutes of calls per month (UK Geographic Landline) that’s over 16 hours
500 Minute of caller per month (UK Mobile Number) that’s over 8 hours

Can I keep the number if I move providers?
Yes of course. Once you’ve selected the new provider you will need to follow their porting process. It is vital that your number remains active on your account until the porting process has been completed and the number is active on your new suppliers system.
If your number is disconnected from your account before or during the porting process the porting will fail.
Is there a setup charge?
We have a special offer simply order online for free setup Normally £10.00. Due to the added administrative work involved there is a £10.00 setup charge for telephone setup.

The Mailbox Lite Service is a unique address sharing service from Acorn Business Solutions. This is offered on an annual basis as such the minimum term is just 1 year. If you do wish to cancel all we ask is that you let us know in writing giving at least 7 days notice (by email is fine)
