With the personal mailbox rental service from Acorn you can use our address to receive your mail including letters, packages and parcels which will be held awaiting collection (prefer forwarding click here). Each day that mail is receive we will send you an email to let you know, you can then call into branch to collect your mail..

As with all the services on offer at Acorn the personal mailbox rental service includes a real street address with no box, flat or unit numbers. Just your name and our address. Great for those going traveling, living in share accommodation or simply require a safe and secure way to to receive your personal mail.

As with all the services on offer at City Address the business mailbox rental service includes a real street address with no box, office or unit numbers. Just your name and our address. Ideal for new and established businesses alike.

With the Personal Mailbox Rental service there are no mail handling fees or charges, receive as much or as little as you like in up to 4 individual names for a fixed monthly or annual fee. Collect any parcels within 1 week and there will be no storage fees either. Parcels stored for over 1 week will incur a storage fee.

What is Mailbox Rental?

The Mailbox Rental Service from Acorn Business Solutions is a simple address sharing service, whereby you can share our address to receive your business mail, including letters, packages and parcels which will be held for you to collect.

What will my address be?

Unlike other providers Acorn Business Solutions do not use box, suite or unit numbers.

Your address will simply be our address with your name or business name.

How will I know I have mail?

Each of our Mailbox Rental services includes free notifications. Each time mail is received we will send you an email to let you know

When can I collect my mail?

You can collect your mail during normal business hours which is 09:30 – 17:00 Monday to Thursday and 09:30 – 16:30 Friday. These hours will differ during public holidays, Christmas and Easter.

You can either collect yourself or send someone to collect on your behalf (letting us know first) or if you’d prefer mail forwarding, please see our Mail Forwarding Service

Can I use a mailbox number if I want to?

Yes. whilst processing your order we will issue a mailbox number. Although mailbox numbers are used for internal mail sorting purposes and do not need to be included in the address you can if you want to.

As standard we sort mail by name for example

However, if you prefer to include your mailbox you may do so for example

It is however essential that you only use the number we allocate.

How many names can be on my mailbox?

The professional address sharing service with Mail Holding from Acorn Business Solutions will allow you to receive mail in up to 2 business name and 4 individual names at no extra cost. If you do need to add additional names these can be added at a cost of just £1.00 per additional name per month.

Can I received parcels?

Yes. We accept reasonably sized and a reasonable number of parcels up to a maximum of 20kg and measuring up to 61cm x 46cm x 46cm. Please note however large items including furniture, white goods, pallets etc cannot be received and will be refused.

How do I sign up?

Signing up to the Acorn Business Solutions Address Share mailbox is quick, easy and can all be done online. Simply select the required package from the table above and complete the short order form.

Can I use the mailbox as a registered office?

In order to use our address as the registered office of your company with Companies House you must order a registered address service.

Will you forward mail onto me?

As standard with the mailbox rental service we will normally receive your mail and hold it in a mailbox until you collect. If you’d prefer mail forwarding you can visit our mail forwarding service page here,

There may be occasions when you simply cannot get in to collect your mail. If this is the case simply contact us and we can forward it at to the address on your account.

Is there a setup charge?

The mailbox rental services come with free online setup. Due to the added administrative work involved there is a £10.00 setup charge for telephone setup.

Is there a minimum term contract?

The Mailbox Rental Service is available on 3 options. Monthly in which case the minimum term is just 1 month, 3 monthly in which case the minimum term is 3 months and annual in which case the minimum term is one year.

Your service will automatically renew on the renewal date shown in your welcome email. If at any time you wish to cancel, simply send us an email giving at least 7 days prior notice.
